Mother Earth

We need her more
than she needs us.

She feeds us, carry us, gives us a place to call home.
And we take, and take, and take. Oh, how foolish we are.

Mother Earth.

Like a true mother she knows, with the pain of loving care in her heart, that one day we will understand.

We ALL will understand.

And that with blisters on our bare feet, tears in our eyes and dry mouths that nearly can speak, we finally return home, whispering how grateful we are and how long we have missed this truthful connection with her, our Mother Earth.
